What does one measurement cost?

A measurement is one measurement question to one AI system. Every month, Upcite runs 1,050 measurements per client: 50 questions in four measurement rounds on five AI systems, plus one measurement round in Claude.

Extra usage and credits

If you use more than your plan includes, you settle the difference with credits. Credits are the budget for keyword research and tracking Google positions, not a number of AI answers.

You buy credits yourself, manually; nothing is ever charged automatically.
Upcite uses the credits in your plan first, then the credits you bought.
Unused plan credits expire at the end of the billing period.
Purchased credits remain valid for 12 months.
Credits are not refunded and expire when your account ends.

Free trial

You can try every plan free for 7 days. If you start with iDEAL, your bank verifies your account with a payment of €0.01, which is refunded immediately.

Do prices include VAT?

No. All prices exclude VAT.

When do I pay?

Always in advance, monthly or annually.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. The credits of your new plan apply from the next billing period.

Can I cancel monthly?

Yes, at any time in the settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Do I get my money back if I stop?

Within 14 days of your first payment, as long as no measurements have run yet. A measurement costs money straight away at the AI systems we query.

Can I stop an annual plan early?

Yes, without a penalty. The remaining amount is not refunded.
